Fuel for Women Who Move with Purpose

NUTRITION TO HELP YOU EXPRESS YOUR HIGHEST LEVEL OF HOLISTIC WELLNESS.

Your Body is More Powerful Than it Gets Credit for.

It moves, it breathes, and it carries you throughout the day. It helps you get where you want to go, hug the people you love, and it’s capable of achieving some incredible physical feats.

Your body allows you to move with purpose throughout the day in the activities you enjoy the most.

Yet, outside of exercise and in your daily life, you don’t always feel powerful or strong. Despite your love of movement, you know you’re not always operating to your fullest potential.

You may have been feeling like a piece of the puzzle is missing, especially if you’ve noticed you’re…

  • Struggling on a plateau or experiencing diminished athletic performance.

  • Experiencing increased fatigue and disturbed sleep.

  • Coping with spells of irritability or mood swings.

  • Experiencing gastrointestinal distress or discomfort.

  • Finding difficulty with changes in energy and weight.

If any of this sounds familiar, it’s time to start looking at the whole picture of health—starting with the food that fuels you. Let’s put food on your plate that will lay the foundation for you to feel good as you move throughout your day.

Find Health in Every Stage and Cycle of Your Life

AS A WOMAN, YOU HAVE UNIQUE NEEDS THAT AREN’T ADDRESSED IN MAINSTREAM HEALTH.

To start, your body operates on a cycle, and every phase of that cycle brings with it unique nutritional requirements. Acknowledging and embracing this fundamental physical truth is critical for better health.

When you honour your female physiology, you feel better and you can do better. To honour yourself means adjusting your meals depending on which stage of your cycle you’re in. It also means learning when it’s more beneficial to embrace rest versus the perfect stage to push yourself to your full potential.

As you become empowered with the information you need to eat like a woman, you will change the way you look at food forever. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of what’s going on with your body and learn to live in a way that’s aligned with your biology.

Don’t settle for a one-size-fits-all approach. Your body deserves better.

Meet Shannon the Holistic Nutrition Consultant.

Hi, I’m Shannon, The Holistic Athlete. I’m proud to call myself an athlete, I’ve been there and “done it all.” I raced Ironman triathlon competitively, completing 22+ Ironman and was a regular at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii and on the podium for bike races.

Despite feeling strong and powerful in the physical sense, for a long time I struggled to realize my own autonomy to create the life I wanted. I spent so much time on my physical body, I didn’t nurture other important parts of my life physically, mentally, or on a soul level, which led me down the path of being unbalanced.

I could no longer ignore the inner voice that was telling me to take a deep dive into my own holistic wellness, which led me to become certified in Holistic Nutrition. I was amazed at how much these shifts I made improved my balance and overall happiness.

I have more love to give and a greater energy to share than ever before. It’s a beautiful place to be. Now, I’m making it my mission to take the holistic health practices I’ve learned and the skills I’ve gained and share them with other women.

I show women how to live a healthier lifestyle with a deeply substantial, scientifically-backed approach. Following standard plans created by men, and research based on studying men, does not suit a woman’s physiology.

I’m here to teach you how to align your training and recovery with your cycle so you can get the most out of your nutrition, movement, and recovery.

It’s important to me to lead positive change in the world around me, and this mentality is at the heart of what I do. I love being able to make a difference in your life, and to empower you to realize your autonomy and authority, so you can reach new levels of accomplishment at every age and stage.
